Visiting this site
When you open the page, your browser sends technically necessary data to our hosting providers, who store it in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer, and browser and operating system identifiers. This processing is necessary to run and secure the site; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log files are deleted after a short period and are not combined with any other data.

The site and the game server run with the following providers:

Both process the data named above solely on our behalf and on our instructions, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Railway Corporation processes data in the USA, and therefore outside the EU. The transfer rests on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR or, where the company is certified accordingly, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR. Even with those safeguards in place, access by US authorities cannot be ruled out entirely. UpCloud Oy processes in Finland and thus within the EU.
Cookies, analytics, third-party content
This site sets no cookies, embeds no advertising or analytics services, and loads nothing from third-party servers. There is no tracking and no usage profiling.
Discord
The Discord button is a plain link. Only when you click it does your browser connect to Discord, and from that point Discord processes your data under its own responsibility and its own privacy policy. We have no influence over that processing.
Game server
When you connect to the Minecraft server play.mc-globes.com, your IP address, your Minecraft username and your UUID are processed and stored in server logs, world data and moderation records. This is necessary to run the server and to enforce the server rules; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. Chat and event logs are kept to deal with abuse and deleted afterwards.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). A message to [email protected] is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
